Puertas Abiertas is dedicated to supporting personal growth and family stability through life skills, educational programs, and advocacy services. Our goal is to empower Latinx individuals and families with the tools they need to thrive in today's world.

Classes and Workshops: Our classes and workshops are designed to equip participants with practical skills and knowledge that are essential for success in both personal and professional life. Throughout the year, we offer a variety of courses and workshops covering essential topics such as:

• Basic Computer Classes: Learn the fundamentals of computer usage, including essential software and internet navigation skills.

• Smartphone-use Classes for Seniors: Explore the functionalities of smartphones and learn how to use them effectively for communication, organization, and entertainment.

• Financial Literacy: Gain valuable insights into managing finances, budgeting, saving, and investing for a secure financial future.

Considering language accessibility, all of our workshops and classes are conducted in Spanish.

Social Services: In addition to educational programs, Puertas Abiertas provides comprehensive social services to address the diverse needs of our community members. Our services include:

• Comprehensive case management and applicable referrals: Receive personalized support and guidance to access resources and services tailored to your individual needs.

• Assistance with EDD applications, Medi-Cal, Cal Fresh, and more: Our knowledgeable staff is here to assist with navigating the application process for various assistance programs.

• Resumes, job applications, Social Security, and other programs: Get assistance with resume writing, job applications, and accessing social security benefits.

Please note that while we offer a wide range of services, Puertas Abiertas does not provide assistance with legal documents such as divorce, child support, or court applications, among others. We encourage individuals seeking legal assistance to consult with a qualified attorney or legal aid organization specializing in these areas.​​
