The Healthy Living Program

This component of the Puertas Abiertas Community Resource Center addresses the healthcare needs of the Latino population

The program connects clients to local nonprofit and government organizations that provide medical, dental, and mental health services. This is accomplished through collaborative partnerships with 30+ agencies.

Referrals
Puertas Abiertas facilitates access to partners’ services with guided referrals, the provision of a geographically convenient location, culturally sensitive staff and environment for the direct delivery of services.

ONSITE SERVICES WITH PARTNER AGENCIES

Support Group for Women: a therapeutic counseling from ALDEA offered in Spanish  at Puertas Abiertas. Group sessions last 10 weeks.  Contact us for more information and registration.

Zumba Suavecito: an exercise group offered by Clinic Ole at Puertas Abiertas for people over 45 years of age.

Dental Van from the Queen of Valley Medial Center provides dental services for children at Puertas Abiertas’ on Thursdays. By appointment only.
